Fish Hoek Holiday Accommodation
Accommodation in Fish Hoek, Cape Town
Fish Hoek is a beach town situated along the False Bay coastal road from Cape Point (via Simonstown) to Muizenberg. This is only 30 to 40 minutes drive from Cape Town CBD, the Table Mountain cable station and the V&A Waterfront.
Fish Hoek is nestled between two mountains and two oceans and boats a bustling main street with great shopping and a Saturday market. The long sandy beach is one of the safest in the Cape for bathing and body boarding and when the wind picks up, hobie-cats and windsurfers take to the waves. From July to October whales come into Fish Hoek bay and loll around just 50 metres from the shore in preparation for mating and giving birth. Huge schools of dolphins are also sometimes seen.
